CHOCOLATE SCULPTURES

Custom chocolate sculptures by international chocolate artist and sculptor Gerhard Petzl, created in Vevey, Switzerland for luxury brands, hotels, exhibitions, weddings, corporate events and private collectors worldwide.

As a sculptor and chocolate artist, Gerhard Petzl has devoted much of his life to chocolate sculpture. Combining traditional sculpting skills with professional chocolatier techniques, he creates precise artworks through carving, piping, layering, moulding, spraying, colouring and ageing chocolate.

Unlike many chocolate artists, he often carves sculptures from solid blocks of chocolate — a physically demanding and time-consuming process. His works range from a 100 g miniature sculpture to a 3.65 m tall Chocolate Santa. Among his most complex projects are a 5 m royal feast table assembled from more than 2,500 chocolate pieces, and a complete chocolate room weighing over 1,500 kg, which took six months to complete.
