Event: "IMEX Business fair & Convention"
Gerhard Petzl impressively demonstrated his artistic chocolate craftsmanship during a live two-hour performance show.
The custom “CANADA” lettering, placed on a balloon centerpiece, was surrounded by intricate ornamental fine-art dot piping on dark chocolate — all created live for guests to experience and enjoy. Elegant edible pink poke sticks completed the artistic presentation.

Portrait "Master of chocolate"

Event: Studio-guest, channel9
On Easter Sunday, Gerhard, or the “Master of Chocolate” as Channel 9 called him, was invited to the studio to present his impressive and unique chocolate art to Australia. Gerhard presented a selection of artworks like a body painting on a male torso, 3 fine-art high-heels, a set of glasses, chocolate bottles, a fine-art chocolate cake, branches, leaves and the whole table was delicately hand-piped and decorated.

As a finalist in Australia’s national selection for the internationally renowned World Chocolate Masters competition, Gerhard Petzl ranked among the country’s top five chocolatiers.
Inspired by the competition theme, “Architecture of Taste,” he created a striking sculptural chocolate masterpiece using layered black and white chocolate blocks — a powerful expression of his artistic vision and sculptural craftsmanship.

As the featured artist at the ChocoClassico Chocolate Festival, Gerhard Petzl created an extraordinary artistic setting centered around an elegant chocolate pagoda installation, enhanced by a glass chandelier and a richly styled oriental carpet.

During the chocolate fashion show, Gerhard Petzl presented a live masterpiece of chocolate artistry unlike anything seen before. In a groundbreaking performance, he artistically connected two models with chocolate, transforming them into one unified living sculpture.
Created live before the audience, this extraordinary body-art performance became an impressive show act — a dreamlike journey into beauty, harmony, and sensual elegance expressed through chocolate.

Event: 1st Paderborn Chocolate Festival — Germany
As the main featured artist of the inaugural Paderborn Chocolate Festival, organized by the City of Paderborn, Gerhard Petzl unveiled an exceptional exhibition of 21 chocolate sculptures.
The presentation established a remarkable milestone in chocolate artistry as one of the world’s largest single-artist chocolate sculpture exhibitions.

World’s Largest Chocolate Santa — Germany
PRO7, TV channel (2008)

Event: World’s Largest Chocolate Santa — Germany
Gerhard Petzl accepted a challenge from the German television station PRO7 to create the world’s largest chocolate Santa Claus entirely on his own — without the support of a team.
During the intense 72-hour live challenge, Gerhard worked almost without sleep to complete the monumental sculpture. In the end, the city of Wernigerode proudly presented Germany’s sweetest Santa Claus at its Christmas market.
